Professionals involved with our advocacy have each displayed strong interest in our goal to train our nation. Our focused strategy with Community Math Training Online is to bring needed rigorous training to serve all stakeholders. We follow leading research to support classroom teachers and parents who are the proven influencers for skill development, Consider their experiences which will be Applied Math to Sciences, in our Phase Two.

Dr. Lori McGrew: Earned her B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. Later earned her Interdisciplinary Graduate Program (IGP) then her Ph.D. from the Pharmacology Department at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Professor McGrew is now an Associate Prof of Pharmacy at Lincoln School of Pharmacy, having previously served in various roles at Belmont University, where she taught courses in human anatomy & physiology, pharmacology and neurobiology in addition to ongoing research. She is an exceptionally strong sciences advocate for women in STEM and able to create a broad body of literacy and mathematics works in early science.

Dr. James L. Frazier: Emeritus Professor of Entomology, former Dept Chair and a member of Center for Chemical Ecology and Center for Pollinator Research at Penn State. . As an internationally recognized insect chemical ecologist, his 45-year career involved teaching, research, administration, and formed food and agricultural policy at three major land-grant universities. Dr. Frazier has participated broadly with commercial stakeholder systems of the U.S., Canada, and the E.U. He and his wife Maryann (next) are proven exceptional trainers; with a gift for insights deemed ideal for nurturing curiosity with youth as demonstrated in projects they created which are still in use today (see below).

Maryann T. Frazier: Senior Extension Associate, Masters in Agriculture in Entomology, recently retired at Penn State University, is an internationally recognized apicultural scientist with broad experience in outreach, teaching, and research. Her specialty is of honeybees and native bees. Maryann is a proven innovative educator for undergraduate students and was the developer of a summer certification course Bug Camp for Teachers that used insects to teach biological concepts in the classroom. She co-developed, with the PSU education department, a new course for K-12 education majors at Penn State “The Insect Connection for Educators”. This course was developed to increase the science competence of teachers and bring an affordable and unique approach for new K-12 teachers graduating from Penn State. The Great Insect Fair (since 1993) and Bug Camp for Kids (since 1994) are her outreach programs that operate annually at PSU.

Joe McGrew: West Virginia Institute of Technology (mathematics); Guilford College (Physics) Owner-operator Professional Tutoring Service. Joe has twenty+ years serving both institutions and students in the K-12 markets. He trains adults for Vanderbilt GMAT prep, and has worked with leading area high and middle schools in their curriculum design and implementations for math programs. Joe also designed and built group tutoring with differentiated instruction in math and sciences and offers both individual and group prep for national exams. Project Planning and implementation experiences are in his experiences. As the Frazier’s above, Joe and his wife Dr. Lori McGrew have demonstrated passion for creating and expanding the needed curiosity in our youth.

Mary Pfeiffer: Lipscomb University, Nashville, TN, BS in Secondary Math and was licensed as such in TN, Mary became involved early with individual instruction and joined in the CMT design with the 8 workbooks and development-design of our two bi-lingual editions, to meet the needs of a growing Hispanic population. Mary and Jim, along with the McGrew family, conceived and built the first math lab in Nashville Middle Schools, with parental organizations. They are experienced with and conducted assessments online as early as 2006 and were involved with early implementation efforts at the direction of the school Principal.

Jim Pfeiffer: MBA (Systems emphasis) University of Southern Miss, retired Officer with major Financial Services firm. Jim has extensive work and sustained performance in the identification of new markets,research for and implementation of specific resources to insure successful growth. with full operational responsibilities. He and Mary were extensively involved for years with education and continue developing innovative training programs with unique and highly effective approaches. He has years of research and contacts within the industry and has access to specific experts who will be attracted to a program such as CMT.

Our team has access to talent at the highest levels. In working with the need to address the many issues of youth and parents and educators for example, we located and have attracted:

Dr. Gerardo Ramirez : Professor of Cognitive Psychology and Education, currently as Assistant professor of Educational Psychology, Ball State University. A graduate of University of Chicago, and UCLA, he currently teaches both the undergraduate teacher education courses and advanced classes in their master's and doctoral programs. KEY for our advocacy is his primary areas of research include emotion and math achievement. His research work addresses educator, parental and student math anxieties, while extensive research is directed to understanding how student academic struggles, personal narratives and sense making processes, shape their math learning.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We face training a nation of students of all ages who have established anxiety levels, which were developed over decades across the nation, with the failure to be sufficiently trained to prove proficiency.
Dr. Ramirez stands ready to engage with Educators and Parent with their input on needs. Numerous research shows anxiety is caused by resistance to repeated struggles among our young students. It does begin early on and does damage career opportunities. We are focused to interdict in key areas with a design to bring early feedback for success to thwart the fears.
Leading National Authority Comments.
Dr. Ettore F. Infante, Brown University in Providence, RI, was a faculty member in the Division of Applied Mathematics, with a specialty in differential equations and their applications to mechanics, control, and macroeconomics. Dr. Infante taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervised graduate and postdoctoral students, and published more than sixty research papers during this period.
He became director of the Division of Mathematical and Computer Science at the National Science Foundation; then Dean of the Institute of Technology (the college of mathematical and physical sciences and engineering) of the University of Minnesota; then Dean of the College of Arts and Science at Vanderbilt University, He too was Senior vice-president of Academic Affairs and provost of the Twin City Campus of the University of Minnesota.
Noteably, he also served as a member of several boards, including those of Argonne National Laboratory, Oak Ridge Associated Universities, professional societies, research organizations, and publishing entities.
Dr. Infante, is now retired and still teaches adults for his community service at the Key West Community College. He has known of the National need to improve the rigor of math training. He also knows the value of our materials.
His comments, for your clarity of the work.
" I find the Algebra book extremely well done, with all the topics that I might have wanted in such a book. It is very well written, and the explanations are clear, concise, and to the point. Let me also state that I have developed a considerable admiration for Mr. Aggor as an expositor, and most patient presenter of material. I certainly could not muster the patience he has displayed in putting together these books".
There are more professionals who have responded to the model, which includes students and parents. Our focus is to achieve success in training for skills. We know this nation has a need to train our youth at levels far higher. We provide the obvious need for rigor of our supplementation, to expect future. success.
